EcoWB at the AFS Annual Meeting

EcoWB organized and led a special symposium entitled Far-Reaching Technologies: International Technical Programs for the Conservation and Improvement of Aquatic Ecosystems at the 141st Annual Meeting of the American Fisheries Society in Seattle, Washington, in September 2011.  A reception afterwards attracted 37 people representing 7 countries to discuss EcoWB’s goals and recent activities.   EcoWB directors solicited ideas for projects, funding opportunities, and individuals or organizations with whom EcoWB can partner.  Several projects are currently underway in Cambodia and Mexico.
