Volunteer Coordinators

Seeking Volunteer Coordinators

Ecologists Without Borders is frequently engaged by private, state, federal, and international entities to support the development and/or oversight of ecologically important projects and programs globally. We also have an extremely diverse, talented, and growing list of volunteers and are seeking assistance to help manage them. We need individuals with a strong background in Human Resources or other personnel management fields who are willing to donate their time as Volunteer Coordinators (VCs) on behalf of EcoWB. We envision our VCs using our existing volunteer database to delineate our volunteers by expertise, geographic experience, and other pertinent elements, essentially linking each volunteer’s skillset to project and program needs, and communicating directly with volunteers to facilitate this action. Furthermore, we would welcome expert advice on how to best manage and leverage our volunteers to support current and projected ecosystem service needs.

This is a great opportunity to share your expertise with the developing world and to build your professional resum with an organization quickly growing into a global brand. We need multiple VCs to support our work. EcoWB leaders will work with VCs to get you started and develop a path forward.
