REPORTS LIAISON

EcoWB is seeking a volunteer Reports Liaison to serve as a point of contact to manage, analyze, and communicate webform data gathered from EcoWB volunteer project managers (PMs). The role will involve the management, analysis and communication of the webform data, provided by community organizations submitting Letters of Interest (LOIs). Once LOIs have been approved, they become active projects. Project Reports then provide updates on each project’s progress. The liaison role will work primarily with the EcoWB Projects Committee, Outreach Committee, PMs, and the EcoWB Board of Directors. The successful volunteer can undertake this work remotely, from their current location.


Responsibilities:


  • Create, update, and manage Project Reports updates to generate response summaries to be reviewed by the Projects Committee and Board of Directors
  • For Project Reports, on a quarterly basis, the Reports Liaison will (1) organize webform entries from PMs; (2) Follow up on incomplete entries, based on a reporting calendar; (3) organise, analyze and synthesize project quarterly report data; (4) summarise data results for presentation (including data visualization) to the Board of Directors, Projects Committee, and EcoWB website; and (5) provide constructive, actionable feedback/communication to/with PMs about project progress
  • Create, update, and manage LOI webform (collaboratively with existing EcoWB volunteers) to generate response summaries for review by LOI evaluators
  • For LOI submissions, on a regular, as-needs basis, this person will (1) review submissions to LOI webform; (2) organize submitted data for Projects Committee, who undertake LOI evaluation (using existing rubric); (3) summarize LOI submission results for presentation (including data visualization) to the Board of Directors, Projects Committee, and EcoWB website; and (4) provide constructive, actionable feedback/communication to/with organisation/individual submitting LOI
  • Work could evolve into managing data that EcoWB shares with other organizations 


Requirements

  • Proficiency with Power BI and similar tools for data collection and visualization
  • Experience with evaluation and survey tools such as SurveyMonkey, Qualtrics, and others
  • Availability to commit sufficient time to complete tasks as needed (variable, 1-4 hours/week)
  • Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction
  • Excellent oral and written English communications
  • Ability to work with diverse audiences from around the world
  • Desirable Attributes
  • Experience building, editing, and managing webforms such as Google Forms and Microsoft Forms
  • Experience manipulating and analysing report data with Google Sheets and Excel
