EcoWB is seeking a volunteer Donor Relations Specialist help build EcoWB into a recognized international organization and fund high impact projects around the world. The Donor Relations Specialist will work with the EcoWB Board of Directors to design, implement and coordinate a comprehensive donor relations program that acknowledges and appreciates donors at all levels of support and demonstrates the impact of their gifts. The Donor Relations Specialist will work remotely from their current location.

Responsibilities:

Lead the design, implementation, and coordination of a comprehensive donor relations program

Assist in the development of a written gift acceptance policy

Update donor records in EcoWB’s database, and assist with ongoing data management improvement efforts

Coordinate activities from employee matching gift programs

Produce donor acknowledgment correspondence, including to categories of donors such as loyal donors, first-time donors, and new donors

Respond to donor inquiries

Serve as a member of the Fundraising Committee

Qualifications:

Demonstrated experience in fundraising, donor relations, or customer engagement

Ability to build good working relationships with internal and external partners and donors

Knowledge of database systems

Ability to deliver high-quality customer service

Personal integrity in the use of confidential materials

Strong analytical skills, ability to analyze data and information and produce reports

Self-motivated and able to work with minimal direction

Excellent oral and written English communications

Excellent interpersonal skills, ability to work with diverse audiences from around the world
